Monroe County Department of Environmental Services is the 2011 recipient of the American Public Works Association New York State Chapter Project of the Year Award for Structural Projects for the Monroe County Crime Lab project. The project of the year award was established to promote excellence in the management and administration of public works projects by recognizing the alliance between the managing agency, the engineer and a contractor who together have led to a successful completion of a public works project.
